The dollar was rising slightly as traders continue to weigh Wednesday’s U.S. retail sales and producer prices data and await other economic indicators.
Retail sales rose 0.6% in November, higher than expected. Producer prices rose 0.2% month on month in November, taking the annual rate to 3.0% from 2.8% in October. The retail sales data indicate consumer spending remained strong heading into year-end, Danske Bank analysts say in a note.View MoreShare

U.S. Treasury yields were little changed in early trade, with data, geopolitics, and monetary policy expectations remaining the key inputs.
Thursday’s potential drivers include weekly jobless claims, as well as speeches by Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Raphael Bostic and Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President Jeffrey Schmid.
